Meet Goldie and Ellie, our beloved golden doodles and the newest addition to the compassionate team at Schaudt’s Funeral Service & Cremation Care Centers in Tulsa County. Hailing from Missouri, Goldie and Ellie have seamlessly integrated into our organization and are undergoing specialized training to fulfill their crucial role as our official Therapy Dogs.
Affectionately dubbed the firm’s "Comfort Companions," Goldie and Ellie draw inspiration from the valuable services therapy dogs provide in healthcare settings. Like the comforting presence of service dogs in hospitals and nursing homes, Goldie and Ellie extend unconditional love and support to grieving families, offering a gentle distraction from their sorrow.
A familiar sight around our funeral homes, Goldie and Ellie can often be found lounging in the office, exuding warmth and compassion. Introductions to families are made at their request, and while they are extremely friendly and outgoing, our staff at Schaudt’s Funeral Service & Cremation Care Centers is always ready with treats for visitors eager to interact with them. Positioned in the foyer, Goldie and Eliie warmly welcome and ease the hearts of those who walk through our doors.
