Zakaria Joseph Nammari

Zakaria Joseph Nammari, son of Joseph Rashid and Mary Touma Nammari, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at his home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was born June 11, 1944 in Jerusalem, Palestine.

Zack came to live in the United States in 1969 and has resided in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma since 1977. He married the love of his life, Kathleen Hilton in Omaha, Nebraska on July 15, 1972. Zack, his brother David, and sister-in-law Maggi operated Nammar Travel agency since 1976.

He was an avid golfer and loved playing soccer and tennis in his younger years. Zack's true passion resided in his wife and children. He was a dedicated husband and father and spent most weekends watching his children play soccer, cheering them on as they played.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph Rashid and Mary Touma Nammari and sister, Fahima Edmiston.

Zack is survived by his wife, Kathleen Nammari of the home; children: Adam Nammari and his wife, Lisa of Dallas; Monique Nammari and her wife, Jill of Broken Arrow; Mark Nammari and his wife, Kayley of Tulsa; and grandchildren: Luke, Page, Nate, Brittanie and her son, Roman, Kayleigh and Gabriel; siblings: Mike Ovikian; David Nammar; Solomon Nammari; Fadwa Nammar; Wedad Reed; and Jacob Nammar.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 30, 2016 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Tulsa.
