Yvonne Delue Anderson

Yvonne Delue Anderson passed away with loving family by her side on Friday, August 7, 2020, at the age of 68 years. Yvonne was born on August 7, 1952, in North Kingstown, RI to her parents, Robert and Katherine (Duffield) Harris.

Yvonne worked as an LPN in Boone, Iowa. She was very professional and took her job seriously. She was instrumental in training her new co-workers; from helping them study for their school exams to keeping them in line. She not only showed them how to do certain tasks, but also explained why they did them. She felt immense pride in helping others, and was honored families placed their trust in her to care for their loved ones. Yvonne started her career at the Evangelical Free Church Home where she worked for 15 years. She continued her career at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone, where she worked until her retirement in April 2019. At that time Yvonne moved to Oklahoma to be closer to her family. She loved her daughters and her grandchildren, and felt very blessed to have become closer to her family and share some life experiences with her grandchildren- prom, graduations, etc.

She is preceded in death by Robert Harris (Father), Katherine Harris (Mother); brother, Donnie Harris of Boone, IA.

Yvonne leaves many loving memories with her family, daughter, Tiffani Scott and husband Jack, of Catoosa; daughter, Tiana Springer; siblings, Ronnie Harris of Boone, IA, Brenda Hoffman of Boone, IA; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends.

Private family service will be held at a later date.
