Yvonne Christine Benson

Yvonne Christine Benson 68, of Okmulgee, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 27, 2020. She was born September 22,1952 to Philip and Susan Bull Benson in Elbowood, North Dakota. Yvonne attended grade school in Twin Buttes, North Dakota and graduated high school at Flandreau Indian School, South Dakota. Yvonne went on to continue her adult education at Indian Haskell Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas and settled down in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to begin her journey as a loving mother, where she lived until her passing Yvonne was a member of the Water Buster and Knife Clan.Yvonne was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank Benson Sr. and Alice Bearghost Benson, Ole Bull and Nellie Bull; parents, Philip Benson and Susan Bull Benson; brothers, Troy Benson, David Benson; sisters, Myrna Benson, Noreen Benson, and Beverly Benson one son Ronald Jones.Yvonne is survived by her seven children Reggie Benson of Okmulgee, Roxanne Jones of Okmulgee, Ryan Jones of Okmulgee, Renee Jones of Okmulgee, Heather Tecumseh of Tulsa, Tommy Tecumseh of Okmulgee, and Wilson Tecumseh of Sapulpa, sister, Alice Benson, Bismarck brothers, Kirby Benson, Dickinson, Frank Joey Benson, Bismarck , 21 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, and their families.Arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt’s Funeral Service of Okmulgee.
