Wilson Cashmere Hopkins, III, known affectionately as "Bill," passed away peacefully on September 9, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on February 9, 1953, in San Francisco, California, to loving parents who preceded him in death. Bill was the son of the late Wilson Cashmere Hopkins, II, and his mother, Kay Hopkins. He was also preceded in death by his beloved siblings, Mark Hopkins and Steven Oetter.


Bill dedicated three decades of his life to the noble profession of respiratory therapy, providing compassionate care to countless patients in need. He was a steadfast and dedicated professional, always putting the well-being of others above all else.


Bill married the love of his life, Janet Hopkins, and they enjoyed a loving partnership. Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Janet, and their three children, Chris Hopkins, Paul Hopkins, and Katrina Juarez. Bill's legacy lives on through his five cherished grandchildren, Tyme, Sophie, Michael, Ali Jean, and Drew as well as siblings, Marilyn OLeary and Theresa Corbin.


Bill was a man of many passions and interests. His love for music was evident in his extensive record collection, which spanned decades of timeless classics. He had a particular fondness for the music of the 60's and 70's, which he often shared with his family.
