Wilma I. Rowland

Wilma Rowland, age 63, passed away Friday, February 2, 2007 at her Tulsa residence.
Wilma was born April 4, 1943 in Dewey, Oklahoma to Virgil Rowland and Viola (Brown) Rowland. She graduated from McLain High School in 1961. Wilma lived in the Tulsa area all of her life. She enjoyed fishing and traveling especially taking road trips. Wilma worked 24 years for Wonder Bread Company as an accounting clerk before she retired in January of this year.
Wilma Rowland was preceded in death by both her parents: Virgil and Viola Rowland; her half-brother: Leon Rowland; two brothers: James Rowland and LeRoy Rowland.
She is survived by her sister: Wanda Rowland of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers: Otis Rowland of Vista, California, Gene Rowland and his wife, DeNeil, of Mounds, Oklahoma, her special friend, Don Hicks of Tulsa, Oklahoma along with several nephews, nieces, many friends and co-workers.
Pallbearers are: David Rowland, Jim Rowland, Jake Rowland, Gene Rowland, Ronnie Pinson and Erik Fleak.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Ron Baker will officiate. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Vernon Cemetery, Coweta, Oklahoma.
