Willie Tecumseh Dobbs, Sr.

Willie Tecumseh Dobbs, Sr. age 51 passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at his Glenpool residence. Willie was born September 20, 1961 in Berlin, Germany to Audie Lee Dobbs, Sr. and Connie Jo (Alexander) Dobbs. He graduated from Bonanza High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Willie worked as a self employed drywall installer. He enjoyed his work and only gave it up due to an injury. Willie was preceded in death by his father, Audie L. Dobbs, Jr., his brothers: Audie L. Dobbs, Jr. , Robert A. Dobbs and his step-brother, Cecil Tiger. He is survived by his son, Willie Dobbs, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada, his daughter, Dakota Dobbs of Glenpool, his daughter, Skye Dobbs of Broken Arrow, his stepdaughter, Alyssa Smith of Broken Arrow, his partner, Courtney, his mother, Connie Dobbs of Sapulpa, his sisters, Polly of Oklahoma City and Stella Adkins of Las Vegas, Nevada along with other family members and friends. Willie was known for his quick wit, his love for his family, especially his children. He loved fishing and hiking in the desert. He embraced many studies of religious teachings and was a very knowledgeable man. As his brothers before him, he has slipped from the bonds of this earth to move on to spirit world and freedom from earthly matters. Rest peacefully, Willie. We love you always. Services will be held Friday, May 24, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Funeral Home, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Jimmy Alexander will officiate.
