William Russell Brown

William “Bill” Russell Brown passed away peacefully on the afternoon of December 11, 2015, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on November 9, 1927, Bill was a lifelong resident of Tulsa. He joined the Army in 1945, serving in World War II overseas with the Korean Occupational Forces. He achieved the rank of Master Sargent prior to his discharge. Upon returning home, it was not long until he married his junior-high sweetheart Kathleen Inez Curtis on November 21,1948.

Over the years, Bill worked hard and eventually became the Vice President of Sales for the Pepsi Cola Beverage Products Corporation. Bill was also a 32nd Degree Mason with over fifty years of service. Bill retired from Pepsi Cola in 1984 and was rarely found without Kathleen. The lovely couple were married 65 years until her death in 2014.

Bill is survived by his sons, Russell, Randall, and Jeffrey and their wives, his seven grandchildren, and his two great-grandchildren.
