William "Rocky" Lee, a lifelong resident of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away at the age of 65 on April 3, 2025. Rocky was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and community member, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication.
Rocky was born to William Carl Lee and Dora Deane Lee, and he spent his entire life in Okmulgee, where he built a strong foundation of family and friends. He was a passionate supporter of the Oklahoma Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys, and his love for sports extended into his service as an assistant football coach. He proudly served his community as a school board member, always advocating for the best interests of local students.
Above all, Rocky cherished the time spent with his family. He loved fishing, particularly with his children, Carl,Joseph, and Tiffany creating memories that will last a lifetime. Some of the great joys in his life were swinging on the back porch and playing in the yard with his grandchildren Lillian,Liam and William. His 42-year marriage to Susan Lee was a testament to his love and devotion, and the two shared a beautiful bond that many admired.
Rocky is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Lee; his daughter, Tiffany Lee, and her fiancé, Justin Streight; his grandchildren, Lillian Navarro, Liam Navarro, and William Joseph Lee; his brother, James Nelson Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who all held him in deep affection.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dora Deane Lee; his father, William Carl Lee; his stepfather, Leland Buck; his sons, William Carl Lee and Joseph Andrew Lee; and his brothers, Jimmy Carl Lee, Ike Lee, and Dewey Leonard Lee.
Rocky's life touched countless people, and he will be remembered for his generosity, kindness, and his unwavering love for his family. The family would like to express their gratitude for all the love and support during this difficult time.
Rocky's presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Honorary Pallbearers are Mark Jones, Ryan Jones, Ed Gibson, David Gibson, Dwight Gibson, and James Nelson Lee.
Visitation will be held from 4 PM - 7 PM Tuesday, April 8th at the Schaudt Funeral Service Chapel Located at 220 South Alabama Avenue, Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
A Memorial Service will be held 11AM Wednesday, April 9th at the Schaudt Funeral Service Chapel located at 220 South Alabama Avenue, Okmulgee, Oklahoma with Pastor Randy Matthews officiating.
