William Patrick Edison

William Patrick Edison, loving husband and father of two, made his final hike to heaven on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at the age of 48.

Patrick was born August 13, 1970 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William Earl Edison and Shirley Edison Corwin. He studied Management Information Systems and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Oklahoma. On April 13, 1996 he married, Jamie Lynn Maupin and they have twin daughters, Avery and Ragan. In May 2013 he received both his Standard Teaching and Career Tech Certifications which led him to discover his passion for teaching and inspiring others. He was nominated twice for Teacher of the year.

Patrick was preceded in death by his father William, step- father Tom Corwin, and sister Kelli Dawn Edison.

He is survived by his wife Jamie, his two children Avery and Ragan, his mother Shirley, in-laws Kirk and Patty Maupin and numerous relatives.

Patrick was passionate about many things. He desired to grow in his knowledge and understanding of God’s word. He was active in his church, leading/participating in prayer groups and bible classes. He enjoyed hiking, backpacking and camping as well as watching OU Football.

A homecoming service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019 at the Broken Arrow Church of Christ, 505 East Kenosha Street, Broken Arrow OK.
