William M. Finley, Jr., 84, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Monday, October 16th, at Porta Caeli House with his loving family by his side. He was born in Tulsa, OK on July 23, 1933 to Eunice (Moore) and William M. Finley.
William was a wonderful father; he especially loved coaching the little league baseball team. He was a long time member of Memorial Baptist Church, where he was involved in Sunday School class, ushering and greeting on Sunday's; he loved his church home. He always had the ability to make life fun and had an infinite passion for collecting. In his professional life, William worked as an accountant for an oil and gas company. He truly enjoyed gardening and was known for having the best manicured lawn on the street. Those who knew him will remember his generosity and kindness; he was truly a sweet man. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents William and Eunice Finley; sisters, JoAnne, Linda, Virginia and Lavona.
Survivors include his children, LeAnn Land and husband, Chat, and Michael David; brother, Robert; brother-in-laws, Don, Dave, George; nieces, Sydney, Stacey, Stephanie, Angela, Diane, and Karen; and nephew, Brian, Greg, Andy, Scotty, Bobby, Steven, and Gary.
Memorial service will be held Monday, October 23, 2017, 2PM at Memorial Baptist Church 2800 S Yale Ave, Tulsa, OK 74114.
