William Knowles Hite

William Knowles (Bill) Hite, Jr. age 69 passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bill was born February 13, 1943 to William Hite, Sr. and Mary Kathryn (Fink) Hite in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Charleston High School in Charleston, Illinois and attended the University of Illinois and Bradley University. He married Lecia Hite on September 23, 2005. Bill worked as an architect for forty years. He was a member of The Sanctuary Church in Jenks. Bill enjoyed working on his house, sailing, being at the ocean, and spending time with his wife and family. Bill was preceded in death by his parents: William and Mary Kathryn Hite. He is survived by his wife, Lecia of Tulsa, his son William K. Hite, III and his wife, Catharina van Mastrigt of Munich, Germany, his daughters Francesca A. Henderson and her husband, Steven of Tulsa, Melissa K. Hite of Dallas, Texas, Alexandra J. Hite of Tulsa, his brother Jim Hite of West Hills, California, his sister Patricia Hite of Indianapolis, Indiana, his step son John Gorrell and his wife, Lauren of San Francisco, California, his step daughter Carolyn Sehorn and her husband Chris of Boone, North Carolina, step son Isaac Gorrell of Stillwater, Oklahoma along with ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, other family members and friends. Services are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at The Sanctuary Church, 1015 W. Main Street, Jenks, Oklahoma. Pastor Ed Gungor will officiate. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
