William John Mcguire

June 10, 1940 — February 14, 2022

John McGuire was born June 10th 1940 in Wilburton Oklahoma to John B and Mary Jo (Smith) McGuire. He passed away Monday February 14th in Henryetta Oklahoma at the age of 81.
John was a devoted husband, father, papa and great papa!
John met the love of his life Beulah Rainbolt while working at Kresses in 1958 and later married in 1962. In 1963 they became a family of three when their son Mike was born and then 1970 became a family of four when their daughter Mary was born. John took care of his family in Okmulgee where he worked for many years at Dunbar Public School as a custodian and then later went to work at OSUIT (OSU Technical Branch) as custodian at Lackey Hall until his retirement. John was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He enjoyed the outdoors doing anything from mowing, fishing, gardening or just sitting on the porch swing watching the birds. But the thing he loved the most was spoiling his great granddaughters Gabby and Kenzee. Anything they wanted Papa would get!
John was preceded in death by his parents John B and Mary Jo McGuire, his sister Kathy Poitras, and son Mike McGuire.
Survivors include his wife Beulah of the home, daughter Mary Zinno of Okmulgee, two grandchildren Holly Zinno of Okmulgee, Anthony Zinno III (bubba) of Muskogee, great granddaughters Gabby and Kenzee Harjo of Okmulgee, brother in law Gene Poitras of Florida, two nieces Charleen and Cindy of Connecticut and a nephew Kenny of Florida.
