William James Baker

William James 'Dub' Baker was born November 1, 1939, in McCurtain, OK, the seventh of twelve children. He passed from this life on April 23, 2011 in Tulsa, OK. He worked for Robertson Steel prior to twenty-two years of service as Parts Manager at C.L. Boyd in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, OK, from which he retired in 1985. After retiring he fulfilled a dream by becoming a dairy farmer. He was a member of Will Rogers United Methodist Church, Tulsa, OK, since 1994. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lushes James Baker and Flossie Lee Bryant Baker; brothers: Troy, Marlton (Bill) and Gerald Baker; sisters: Freda Mae Baker, Reba Gustin, Odie Stotts and Erma Stanford; and grandson: Stone Lucious Davis. He is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Willena Baker of Tulsa, OK; son: Rodney Baker and his wife Tonya of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter: Kellie Davis-Dorr and her husband Kelly of Longmont, CO; step-children: John Farley and his wife Jessica of Tulsa, OK; Rebecca Cole and her husband Jeff of Katy, TX; and Gregory Farley of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren: Lacey Bunker, Kelsey Farley, Megan Farley, Brock Baker, Jimmie Baker, Zack Crim, Hunter Myers, Colten Farley, Mikayla Davis, Dakota Farley, Katherine Tueton and Nicholas Tueton; great-grandchildren: Ashlyn Farley, Kourtnie Moore, Karmen Bunker and Klaire Bunker; brother: Don Baker and his wife Bobbie of Arkoma, OK; Jim Baker and his wife Bertha of Fort Smith, AR; and Ronnie Baker and his wife Margie of Nowata, OK; sister: Ruth Graham of Athens, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Calvary Temple United Pentecostal Church, 47 Ware Road in Greenwood, AR. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
