William George Brestle

William George Brestle age 86 formerly of Bridgeport, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011 at his home in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He was born February 25, 1925 in Bridgeport, Ohio to the late Harry Brues Brestle and Lena (Robb) Brestle. Bill served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Martins Ferry, Ohio. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-four years, Thelma June Brestle (2004), a brother Harry Robb Brestle (1994), a sister Mary Louise Valentine (1999) and a great grandchild, Isaac Andrew White in 2002. He is survived by his sister, Edith Theresa Carlie of Middleburg, Florida, two daughters, June Jordan and her husband James of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Patricia Oliver and her husband Michael of Etters, Pennsylvania, five grandchildren, Sarah White and her husband, Kenneth, James Aaron Jordan, Jeremiah Jay Jordan, Rebecca Michele Oliver and Jamie Lynn Robinson and her husband, Alex, eight great grandchildren, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Mackenzie, Kylie, Janae, William, Cole, Luke along with nieces, nephews and other family members.
