William Floyd Hankins, Jr., a resident of Morris, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the age of 89. He was born December 12, 1925 to William Floyd Hankins, Sr. and Hazel (Vanschuyver) Hankins in Wetumka, Oklahoma. On June 11, 1945, he married Dorothy Maxine Dodds in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Preston Assembly of God Church. He was a very hard worker and a loving father. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Maxine Hankins; his parents, one brother; three daughters and one son. Survivors include his two sons, Richard Hankins and wife, Sandy of Norman and Steve Hankins and wife, Sandy of Okmulgee; six daughters, Donna Hessom and husband, E.C. of Morris, Elaine Taylor of Beggs, Julie Pryor and husband, Larry of Okmulgee, Becky Bailey and husband, Rod of Council Hill, Rhonda Bernard of Okmulgee and Audra Jennings and Randy Britt of Seminole; eighty- plus grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee with Minister Tony Laughrun and Minister James VanHooser officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee
