William Eugene Wise

William Eugene Wise age 81 passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Bill was born in Springfield, Missouri on January 9, 1934 to Bryan W. Wise and Iderah E. (Porterville) Wise. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and received an honorable discharge. William worked for the City of Tulsa as a bus driver for ten years. He married Lavonne Gabbard on December 2, 1975 in Miami, Oklahoma. Bill was a member of Victory Christian Center.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and step-daughters, Ruth Black and Barbara Harliess.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lavonne, his daughter Sheila Wise of Springfield, Missouri, his son Billy Wise of Springfield, Missouri, his brother, Roy Wise of Broken Arrow, his sister Susan Bates of Wilson, Oklahoma, his step-sons, Steven Ethridge and Albert Harliess of Fayetteville, Arkansas, his granddaughter, Tammy Lavon, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, three great- great grandchildren other family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma.

Graveside services are 10:00 Monday, February 9, 2015 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pastor Jerry Hausner will officiate.

Memorial service is 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2015 at Victory Christian Center, 8408 S. Delaware Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
