William Edmon Watkins

William Edmon Watkins age 94 passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
William was born in Gilbert, Arkansas on March 28, 1915 to William Brice Watkins and Rady Grace (Cross) Watkins. He spent his entire life as a resident of Glenpool. He graduated from Glenpool High School with the Class of 1932. He married the love of his life, Nora Marie in 1939 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. For thirty-five years Bill worked as an inspector for Seismograph Service Corporation.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents: William and Rady Watkins; his sister, brother and his beloved wife: Nora Marie Watkins (October 26, 2004).
He is survived by his children: Dorothy Johnson of Afton, Oklahoma; , Lavada Thompson and her husband, John of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Mary Housdan and her husband, Frank of Tulsa, Oklahoma along with five loving grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandson; many nieces, nephews and family members.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. Reverend Ron Baker will officiate.
Interment will immediately follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
