William (Bill) Arthur Holt Jr. was born on June 5, 1970 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He passed away on November 5, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 50.
Bill graduated from Bixby High School in 1988 and played the trumpet in his high school Jazz band.
After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country.
Bill had a strong work ethic and after managing a Golden Pawn and working at QuickTrip he found his true calling in life car audio. He learned the industry from various car audio enthusiasts and developed the skills and lifelong passion for all things car audio, even opening his own business, Absolute Audio, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He loved creating his own custom car audio installations and did a lot of work on his own vehicles. He never missed a chance to show off his superior sound and workmanship.
Bill was an avid bowler and was always trying to up his game and get the perfect score. He enjoyed playing frisbee golf and watching Formula One racing and cheering on his favorite driver, Lewis Hamilton. OSU football and basketball were second after music and sound and a game was never missed. Go Pokes! He had a huge comradery of friends from all chapters of his life who loved him dearly for who he was, a generous man who lived his life to the fullest and never gave up.
Bill is preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Holt. He is survived by his long-time girlfriend Natasha Shaver and her son Austin. Sister, Lisa Smith and husband Kerry and their two children; Sister, Patty Holt and several nieces and nephews. Bill’s generosity of spirit and larger than life personality will forever be missed by his family and friend posse and his fur babies, Thomas and Matty.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, November 13, 2020 at Schaudt’s Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel located at 5757 S Memorial Dr. Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145. Interment will follow at 12:00 noon at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Marine Corps.
