Wilda Rae Meadors

Wilda Rae Meadors, age 69, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at her residence in Tulsa.
Wilda was born May 23, 1939 in Elkins, Arkansas, to Raymond Lunsford and Wilma (Wood) Lunsford. She graduated with the Class of 1957 from Will Rogers High School. On December 14, 1958 she married Ralph Meadors in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Wilda loved her family; she liked to watch old movies; and, she loved the outdoors and watching birds in her back yard. Wilda will be remembered for being a people person and never meeting a stranger.   She was preceded in death by her father: Raymond Lunsford, her brother: Ronald Lunsford and one grandchild: Rylei Hall.
Wilda is survived by her mother: Wilma Lunsford of Tulsa, OK; her loving husband: Ralph Meadors of Tulsa, OK; her two daughters: Jane Aston and her husband Bill of Jenks, OK; Sumer Gordon and her husband Donnie of Wagoner, OK; along with five grandchildren: Spencer, Taylor, Bailie, Caidon, and Avery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 5, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Funeral Service at Glenpool, OK.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2009 at First United Methodist Church of Jenks, OK. Reverend David Karges will officiate.
