Wendel Gragle Newburn

Wendel Gragle Newburn age 66 passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Wendel was born February 6, 1943 in Mobile, Alabama to Homa and Estelle (Snow) Newburn. On May 9, 1963 he married Pearl Perea in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Wendel was a bus driver and before retirement he worked for Colonial Trailways. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cleveland, Oklahoma. In his spare time he liked to fish and go to casinos.
Wendel was preceded in death by his parents: Homa and Estelle Newburn; his brothers: Joseph B. Newburn, Clayson Newburn, his twin brother, Kendel G. Newburn, Truman R. Newburn and one sister: Winnie Ella Fast.
He is survived by his wife: Pearl Newburn of Prue, Oklahoma; his son: Chris Anthony Newburn of Tulsa; his daughter: Michelle Newburn Martin; his one granddaughter: Madison Grace Mikula; his brothers: David N. Newburn and his wife, Josephine; H. Douglas Newburn and his wife, Teri; his sisters: Margie Stuckey and her husband, Jerry; Jewell Langley and her husband, Cecil along with multiple nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at a later time in Mobile, Alabama.
