Wayne Nelson Reed

Wayne Nelson Reed passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa at the age of 70. He was born January 5, 1944 in Corpus Christy, Texas to Nelson and Cecile Reed. Wayne worked as a machinist for most of his career. He owned and operated a machine shop in Gainesville Texas, worked for RDS in Broken Arrow, and worked overseas in Israel for many years in the aeronautical industries. Wayne loved to go to the drag races. You never had to guess what he was thinking because he was always straight forward and ready to tell you what was on his mind.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother William J. Reed and wife Camillia; nephew Mike Reed and wife Angela, and their three children Nick, Billy, and Mandy.

Wayne will be laid to rest in Fayetteville, Arkansas at a later date. Visitation will be 10 AM - 12 PM Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Schaudt-Teel Funeral Home in Tulsa.
