Wanda Maedell Trotter

Wanda Maedell (McDonell) Trotter age 77 passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009 at her Sapulpa residence.
Wanda was born November 14, 1931 to Meritt H. McDonell and Carrie Fannie Ruth (Smith) McDonell in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1950. On January 20, 1951 she married Johnny Paul Trotter. Wanda loved dancing, camping, visiting with friends, playing Bunco and bowling. She was a great mother and grandmother.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents: Meritt and Carrie McDonell; her beloved husband: Johnny Trotter who passed away November 15, 2000; and her brother: Terry Keith McDonell. She is survived by her sons: John Dale Trotter of Glenpool; Randy Trotter and his wife, Jackie of Glenpool; her brother: Walter McDonell and his wife, JoAnn; her sister: Pam Wiley and her husband, Bob; five grandchildren: Heather Page Trotter, Randall Trotter, Jr., Dillon Trotter, Jason Trotter, Kasey Murrell; eight great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Ron Baker will officiate.
