Wanda Elsie Jean Lenard

Wanda Elsie Jean Lenard age 80 passed peacefully on Monday, December 7, 2015 at her Mounds residence surrounded by her loving family members.

Jean was born on February 23, 1935 in Nowata, Oklahoma to Albert Woodell and Lucille (Howard) Woodell. She graduated from Union High School with the Class of 1951. On August 30, 1952 she married Billy Ray Lenard in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She worked for Kaiser-Francis Oil Company for many years and retired in December 2004. Jean is remembered by her family members as one who loved the Lord, was a prayer warrior and enjoyed "family" time. She was a positive, patient, loving and welcoming person to everyone she met. She liked to play cards and was a VFW Auxiliary member. Jean loved to shop and supported her family in their sport activities and everything they did. She enjoyed having family members at her house for gatherings - she loved having her family close by. She always made sure her family knew she loved them with saying, "I love you and don't you ever forget it!"

She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Lucille Woodell, her sisters, Alberta, Laura, Nora, Wilma, Faith, her brother, Leland and her husband, Billy R. Lenard who passed away June 27, 2014.

She is survived by her sons, Rick Lenard (Cresenda), Mark Lenard (Sherry), her granddaughters: Diona Shipman (Neal), Pamela Franklin (Ray), grandsons: Matt Lenard, Chris Lenard (Lindsey), great granddaughters: Tori Lenard, Mekayla Lenard, Piper Mae Lenard, Emily Shipman, great grandsons: Jaxton Lenard, Tyler Shipman, great great grandsons: Kyzer Williams and Noah Shipman, nephews John Thomas (Shirley) and their family members, Mike Schaum (Angie), niece Kathy Morrison (Don) and their family members along with numerous loving friends and family.

Pallbearers are: Mark Lenard, Rick Lenard, Chris Lenard, Sherry Lenard, Pamela Franklin and Ray Franklin. Honorary pallbearers are: Cresenda Lenard, Lindsey Lenard and John Thomas.

Visitation is Friday, December 11, 2015 from 10:00 until 1:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel.

Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Rick Lenard will officiate.
