Walter Louis Morrison

Walter Louis Morrison, 91, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017 at his home in Tulsa, OK.
Walter was born in Porter, OK on March 27, 1926, to Alice (Eubanks) and Richard Lee Morrison. He attended Porter High School. Walter married Maudie Edwards on August 13, 1952 in Okmulgee.

Walter served in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman1st Class in WWII. He worked as a Signal Maintainer at St. Louis/San Francisco Railroad for twenty years and Oral Roberts University- Maintenance and Security for twenty years.

Walter loved to garden, he enjoyed working on the railroad, was an avid reader, a member of NRA, loved to hunt and fish, loved big band music, playing cards especially Pinochle and traveling with his family in his younger years.

Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Maudie; daughter, Kim Romine; daughter, Susan Morrison and parents: Richard and Alice Morrison. He is survived by his daughters: Gail Morrison; Anne Stroud and her husband, Bill; Peggy Watkins and husband, Kevin; grandchildren: Diane Miller; Andy Stroud and his wife, Jennifer; Sean Stroud; great granddaughter, Alexandra Miller; sisters: Edna Thomas; Mildred Urbina and brother, Paul Morrison.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service in Tulsa.
