A service to honor and celebrate the life of Walter James Feary will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019 10:00am at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Broken Arrow, OK with Rev. David Cloeter officiating.
Walter James Feary was born August 8, 1980 to John James Feary and Karen Ann Heinrich Feary as the 2nd of 3 children; he departed this life on May 1, 2019 at the age of 38. Known as Jimmy to his family and James to his co-workers and friends, James proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 2000 to 2003 on the U.S.S. Augusta (SSN-710) Los Angeles Class Submarine where he was awarded the Naval Achievement Medal, Artic Service Ribbon, Operation Iraqi Enduring Freedom Ribbon, National Defense Medal, and Sea Service Ribbon. In his occupational capacity in the private sector James was an I.T. Professional certified and accredited in too many disciplines to list. James enjoyed challenging opportunities through work, spending time with friends, working on cars, and above all else spending time with his children.
James is survived by his children Blake, Cassidy & Gavin Feary, parents Karen Ann Rogers and husband Tom, John J. Feary and wife Mary, siblings John W. Feary, Jennifer Feary, Melissa Forehand, Robert Johnson, cousin Christopher Feary, nephew Ian Feary, niece Emma Feary, great grandmothers Vonnie Feary & Dorothy Heinrich, aunt Barbara Heinrich, and uncle Bill Heinrich.
