Virginia Davis passed away January 14, 2016 in Tulsa. A graduate of The University of Tulsa and Northeastern State University, Virginia found great joy in her family, friends, and teaching for Tulsa Public Schools for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, her son, Glenn Richard Davis and her parents. She is survived by her daughter Janie Marie Avery and spouse, Stewart; daughter-in-law, Dawn Marie Davis; grandchildren, Erin (Brian) Bode, Lindsey (Nathan) Holden, Ashley Davis, and Emily Avery; five great grandchildren; and sister, Joan Goddard (Clark) Reid. The family greatly appreciates the amazing care given to her by Doug Taylor, Pam Kirby, Lori Ashenfelter, and St. Francis Hospice. There will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tulsa SPCA.
