Violet Florence Dennis

Violet Florence (Baughman) Dennis age 77 passed away Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Violet was born April 4, 1932 in Oklahoma City to Ernest E. Baughman and Stella A. (Rule) Baughman. She graduated from Ponca City High School. She met and married Orva Raymond Dennis, Jr. Violet was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, knitting and quilting. Before her husband passed away she enjoyed traveling to Branson, Missouri with him. Violet was a member Red Fork Baptist Church in Tulsa.
Violet was preceded in death by her parents: Ernest and Stella Baughman and her husband: Orva Raymond Dennis, Jr. who passed away in 2000. She is survived by her daughters: Joy Rhoades and Brenda Jones and her husband: Boyd Jones; her brother: Ted Baughman; her sister: Ruth and her husband: Bob Edens; three sister in-laws: Ruby Baughman, Betty Turner, Marcy Baughman; her grandchildren: Tonya and Chris Woolever, Tina and Troy Greenlee, Danelle Rhoades, Lea and Don Cape, Rusty and Tori Daniels, Amanda Jones; Jenifer and Steve Nixon, Michael and Heather Jones; her great grandchildren: Damien Rhoades, Kaydence Rhoades, Jacob Woolever, Katrine Woolever, Danae Woolever, KC Cape, Zoe and Samantha Cape , Regan Daniels, Katie Daniels, Jonathon Daniels, Jacob Daniels, Bailey Nixon, Tyler Nixon, Elise Jones, Preston Jones, along with numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be 10:00 Saturday, May 23rd at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel, Glenpool, Oklahoma.
