Victoria Smith

Victoria "Vicky" Ann (Morris) Smith, age 77, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013 at Grace Living Centers in Jenks, Oklahoma. Vicky was born September 21, 1935 in Westville, Oklahoma to Robert L. Morris and Tennessee L. (Mensch) Morris. She graduated from Westville High School in 1953. Vicky married Maurice Smith on May 1, 1954 in Westville, Oklahoma. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Jenks Public Schools. She was a superb seamstress. Some of Vicky's hobbies were sewing, and gardening. Vicky was a member of Jenks United Methodist Church for over fifty years. She was active with the church at both the local level and the regional level, as well as other volunteer organizations. Vicky was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Tennessee Morris and six brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband Maurice Malcolm Smith of Jenks; her children Richard Smith and his wife Dawn of Sand Springs; Barbara Richard of Tulsa; and Nell Bezinque and her husband David of Plano, Texas. She is also survived by her five grandchildren; her brother Frank Morris and his wife, Mary of Watts, Oklahoma; along with other family members and friends. Celebration of Life will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Jenks United Methodist Church, 415 W. Main Street, Jenks, Oklahoma. Reverend David Karges will officiate.
