Verna Marie Tindell

Verna Marie Tindell, 75, of Jenks, OK, passed away Tuesday evening, January 9, 2018, at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa.

Verna was born in Norfolk, NE on December 9, 1942, a daughter of the late Ruth (Huebner) and William Cole. She spent her childhood growing up in Nebraska, attending & graduating from Good Shepherd Catholic School in Omaha, Nebraska.

Verna worked as a Baker for Hy-Vee grocery store. She was a
Lifetime member of DAV; enjoyed embroidery and was an avid reader. Her greatest passion was her family; her grandchildren were her life. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and going to lake, spending time outdoors. She loved Christmas and the fall season.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; 2 sisters.

Verna leaves many loving memories with her family, daughter, Valerie Ross, & husband James, son, Richard Trana & wife Rhonda, Kirt Trana & wife Jeni, Nateshia Woods & husband Paul; grandchildren, Jamie Ross, Terry Greene Jr., Lorne Greene, Ricky and Joshua Trana, Kelly Miller and wife Kristi, Amanda Todd and husband Stephen, Anastasia Miller, Draven Roe, Savannah McEwan, and Brett Woods; great-grandson Ian Miller; as well as many other loving family members.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday January 12, 2018 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel in Glenpool, OK with Pastor Gary Volz officiating.
