Verna Ilene Young

Verna Ilene Young passed away September 28, 2019, at the age of 73. Ilene was born June 1, 1946, in Fort Smith, AR to her parents, Raymond and Lola (Mayo) Grey.

Ilene graduated from Broken Arrow High School and worked as cashier in the customer service industry for most of her life. She met her husband, Joseph Young, and they have been married for 29 years. Some of the things that she enjoyed most was reading books, crossword puzzles and playing with her grandkids.

Ilene leaves many loving memories to be cherished by her family, her husband Joseph Young of Glenpool. Their children; Kelly Banks and wife Stephanie, Aysen, Scout and Sable Banks, Tyson Young and wife Sheila and their daughter Vaviana, and Dustin Young and his daughter Josie Young. Her nephews; Cody Banks and Vernon Bond. Her siblings; Betty Ann Richie and husband John, Brenda Youngson and husband Bill, Nancy Byler, James Cooper and wife Sonya, Lola Earlene Melton, and Gary Cooper who is deceased as well as many other loving relatives and a host of friends. Ilene will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
