Verda Faye Descher

Verda Faye Descher age 57 passed away at her residence in Jenks, Oklahoma on January 24, 2006 after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Descher was born July 23, 1948 in Smallette, Missouri to Oral K. Davis and Lois Irene Epps Davis. She graduated from Jenks High School in 1966 and attended Oklahoma State University. Verda married Jim Descher February 14, 1986. She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church and sang in their choir for many years. Verda enjoyed playing Bingo and doing ceramics.
She was preceded in death by her father: Oral L. Davis.
Verda Faye Descher is survived by her mother: Lois Irene Davis; her husband of 20 years: Jim Descher; her children: Leslie and Lorna Puntillo, Max and Marka Ackley; her brothers: Voyne Davis, Larry Davis, Damon Davis, James Davis and her 9 grandchildren.
Funeral service will take place Friday, January 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. Father Matt Gerlach of St. Catherine Catholic Church will officiate. Interment immediately following at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
