Vera Willine Russell

Vera Willine (Chappell) Russell age 76 passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Vera was born March 7, 1935 to Leonard Hershel Chappell and Sybil Lucile (Owens) Chappell in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She attended Chickasha High School. Vera married Kenneth Neal Russell on February 6, 1986 in Miami, Oklahoma. Vera worked as an accounting clerk for Children's Medical Center for fifteen years before she retired. She enjoyed painting and playing the piano. She was a member of Church on the Move in Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her parents: Leonard and Sybil Chappell along with two brothers. Vera is survived by her husband: Kenneth Russell of Glenpool, one son, two daughters; her brother: Gary Chappell and his wife, Pat of Collinsville, her two sisters: Sybil Framke and her husband, Darell of Middleburg, Florida, Jane Dillard and her husband, Jerry of Conyers, Georgia along with ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Schaudt's Funeral Service Chapel in Glenpool. Pastor Brent Troxell will officiate. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
