Vera Mae Carroll

Vera Mae Carroll age 76 passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008 at her Glenpool residence after fighting a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease..
Vera was born October 4, 1932 to Noah Chester Hinson and Veotta Mae (Flippen) Hinson. Vera retired from Tulsa County where she worked in the County Commissioners' Office. She enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors. Vera also liked to travel to visit with her family. She enjoyed teaching and playing card games with her grandchildren.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents: Noah Hinson and Veotta Strowick and her daughter: Rhonda Jo Carroll Taylor.
She is survived by her son: Steven Carroll of Glenpool; her daughters: Vicki Carroll Gifford of Glenpool; Janet Carroll Hunter of Broken Arrow along with fourteen grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday November 13, 2008 Schaudt's Funeral Service Chapel, Mr. Tom Owen will officiate.
