Venona M Bergmeier

Venona M. Bergmeier, age 99, of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away on April 8, 2022.

Venona was born on June 11, 1922, in Linn, Missouri to Leo and Ada White. Her goal from a young age was to attend Beauty School and become a Beautician. She achieved that goal and spent many years making others beautiful.

She married Charles Edward Robertson in 1951. Charles preceded her in death on February 18, 1981. She found love again, and married John C. Bergmeier on June 7, 1984. John also preceded her in death on March 2, 2014.

Venona and both husbands were long time members of First Southern Baptist Church of Topeka, KS. They were very active in their church family and made many lifelong friends.

Venona is survived by her brother Roscoe White of Philadelphia, PA; her son Roy (Kristine) Robertson of Tulsa, Ok; Stepdaughter Kay (Larry) Rute of Topeka, KS; Stepson Brian (Cherie) Bergmeier of Greeley, CO; Stepdaughter Vickie (John) Kelly of Auburn, KS; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

Venona had a positive impact on everyone she met. She will be remembered with much love and affection by all.

A memorial service to honor her life will be held at 10:00 AM, on Monday, April 18, 2022 at First Southern Baptist Church, 1912 SW Gage Blvd., Topeka, KS, 66604.

A second memorial service and interment will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Pilot Knob Baptist Church, 491 County Road 716, Belle, MO, 65013.
