Velda Bateman

Velda Elda Bateman, a former resident of Henryetta, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 at the age of 88. She was born April 8, 1923 to Benjamin M. and Virginia G. (Been) Guinn in Henryetta, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and seven sisters including her twin. Survivors include her children, Michael Drace and wife, Jeffrie Jones, Brad Drace and wife, Sharon and Suzanne Drace and husband, Tom Frutchey; sister-in-law, Dorothy Guinn; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the Salt Creek Cemetery in the Wilson Community north of Henryetta with Brother Jack Vance officiating.
