Veda Darlene Jenkins passed away Friday, December 25, 2015 at her home in Broken Arrow. Veda was born April 22, 1944 in Pettigrew, AR to Elmer and Alta (Brandenburg) Vire.
Veda was very artistic. She loved to do scratch art, crafts, made china dolls and crochet. Veda had a tremendous amount of patience and skill regarding her art.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gene; and sister, Lola.
Veda is survived by husband, Gilbert D. Jenkins III; sons: Brian Barnes and Steven Barnes; Danny Jenkins and David Jenkins; two sisters: Velma and Loetta; grandchildren: Skyala, Atlanis, and David, and Danny, Tanner, and Julia.
A visitation will be held 2:00 - 4:00 PM, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 and a funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 both at Schaudt-Teel Funeral Service, Tulsa.
