Valma Jewell Stane

September 23, 1934 — October 14, 2021

At the age of 87, Valma Jewell Parker Stane, passed away on October 14, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The daughter of Clyde Lee Christian and Jessie (Humphries) Christian, Velma was born in Obion, Tennessee. On Valentine's Day 1951, Valma married her sweetheart, Eugene Parker, in Tiptonville, Tennessee,

Valma worked at North American Aviation in California and transferred to Tulsa and retired from Boeing Aircraft. She was a coordinator for Apollo II was active part of the Space Shuttle Columbia Production.

After she retired she resumed her passion for singing and song writing. Val had a band called Touch of Silver. She was also inducted in The Country Hall of Fame in 2011.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael E. Parker.
Survivors include her daughter Sheila S. Williams her husband is Willie B. Williams Grand daughter: Starlea S. Williams Grandson: Will b. Will B. Williams Grand children : Skylaa, Saphire, Wyatta, Wayland, Kassy, Shane , Joshua, Justin and Great grandson Wyatte B. Williams II
