In Loving Memory: Valerie Jean Miller

Valerie Jean Miller, also know to some as Montez, a beloved resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 67. Born on June 12, 1956, in Tulsa, Valerie's life was a testament to love, dedication, and the beauty found in everyday moments.
Valerie's journey through life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family and her profession. She was born to her loving parents, Warren and Ruby Miller, and her legacy is intertwined with the cherished memories they created together.
Valerie was very dedicated and with her willingness to attain her associates degree from Tulsa Community College, she made that happen. With her new degree, she continued to work for TCC for many more years as a secretary and other jobs as well.
Valerie's life was a testament to the bonds of family and community. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Miller, her mother, Ruby Langston, and her sister, Margie Miller. Their memories remain alive in the hearts of their loved ones. Valerie is survived by her siblings: Michael Miller, Steven Miller, Elizabeth Miller-Phillips, Pamela Jenkins, and Edward Miller. Her stepmother, Margaret Miller, her brother-in-law, Randy Jenkins, as well as her sisters-in-law, Sandi Miller, Krissy Miller and Tanya Miller, extended love and support to her. Valerie's legacy continues through numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members, all of whom come from Tulsa and its surrounding areas.
A memorial service to celebrate Valerie's life and honor her memory will be held on Tuesday, August 22, at 1:00 PM, at Yale Avenue Christian Church, located at 3616 S Yale, Tulsa, OK 74135. Friends and family who shared in Valerie's journey are invited to gather, finding solace in shared memories and celebrating a life well-lived.
As we remember Valerie, let us hold onto the love, the laughter, and the cherished moments that defined her life. May her legacy inspire us to embrace the beauty in the everyday and to treasure the relationships that make life meaningful.
