Tremaine “Trey” Zachary Brown passed away with his wife by his side from a sudden heart attack on Sunday, May 31, 2020, at the age of 35 years. Trey was born on March 28, 1985, in Fribourg, Switzerland to his parents David and Bonnie (Bludworth) Brown. Trey was active in drama club and performing. Starting at a young age, Trey loved playing sports, listening to Michael Jackson, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, and watching WWE. Trey was always smiling and could easily make friends with anyone, and often did, whether it was his neighbors or someone he met around town. He was hard-working and dependable with a charismatic personality who was the life of the party. He was also everyone’s rock or shelter during a storm. He was a patient soul who gained his wings while still here on earth.
He met the love of his life; Lauren Makenzie Patterson, and they enjoyed living life together, vacationing to Mexico with friends and were truly blessed with their greatest gift when their daughter Makena Lyn was born. She immediately stole her daddy’s heart, and they were inseparable—He, her hero, and she, his princess.
Trey leaves many loving memories with his family; wife, Makenzie Brown, of Tulsa, daughter, Makena Brown; mother, Bonnie Lee and husband David; mother-in-law, Laura Lawrence; father-in-law and wife, Mike and Lisa Patterson; brother, Chris (Nika) Alexander, brother, DJ Brown; along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends.
Trey’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation for the outpouring of support Makenzie and Makena have received from friends, neighbors, coworkers, and the staff of Cedar Ridge Elementary School.
