Tracy Jo Johnson passed away at her home in Hectorville, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at the age of 59. She was born to Lou and Phyllis Adams on January 8, 1961, in Medicine Lodge, Kansas. Her early years were spent in Kansas and Oklahoma. At the age of 8, she lost her father unexpectedly, and when her mother remarried to a military man, the family moved to Virginia and then Hawaii. Tracy was introduced to horseback riding during those years. She was a natural in the saddle and it was one of her favorite pastimes; a perfect fit for the girl with athletic strength and a love for all animals. It was also during these years that she first experienced sandy beaches with crystal blue waters. The memories of Hawaii filled her soul to the end. Tracy eventually settled back in Oklahoma as an adult. She held a variety of jobs over the years and took pride in being a reliable hardworking employee. She gave 100% to every job, large or small. In recent years, she enjoyed a quiet life in the country with her beloved cat, Spooky, and her loyal dog, Sheba. Family and friends remember Tracy as a loveable character with a zany sense of humor. She was feisty and stubborn and a little crazy but she had a heart of gold.
Tracy was preceded in death by Scott Moore, her partner of 17 years, Phyllis Webb (mother), Lou Adams (father), and Michael Webb (stepfather). She is survived by her sisters, Ronda Hume, and Sherli (Rocky) Fisher, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
