Todd Martin

Todd Martin was born on May 23, 1962 in Tulsa, OK to Jerry and Donna Martin. Todd grew up spending much of his time working in the family-owned Martin's BBQ. During high school he attended Tulsa Vo-Tech for Culinary Arts where he won both local and national cooking competitions. After high school, he met and married his wife Jana at East Tulsa Christian Church where they attended and served for many years. He took his first job outside of the BBQ working as a sous chef at Marriott Hotel and then on to become a head chef at Holiday Inn. After working many years in the food business, he took a job as a salesman working for his father-in-law, Johnny Custer, and with his wife, Jana, at Dimension Specialist, Inc. In 2000, Todd and Jana bought and expanded the business; they have continued to work side by side for almost 35 years. Todd and Jana had two kids, Heather and Jared. From the time his kids entered grade school he started a tradition of eating lunch with them one day every week, giving them each their own day; this tradition has continued to this day. He was always very involved in his kids' lives and even spent 15+ years coaching both Heather and Jared's soccer teams. Not only was Todd a coach, but he was most importantly a mentor and role model leaving a lasting impact for many of his players. Todd was always an active member of the church, first East Tulsa Christian Church then Cedar Ridge Christian Church. Todd was the epitome of selfless caring, endless giving, and unconditional love to his family and everyone he crossed paths with. Most importantly he was a fully devoted follower and disciple of Christ and lived his life in devotion to Him.

Todd died at the age of 60 on May 25, 2022 in Tulsa, OK, after a battle with cancer.

Todd is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Martin.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jana Martin; his children, Heather Baker (Steven) and Jared Martin; his granddaughter, Harlow Baker; his mother, Donna Martin; his sister, Tammy Martin (John Miller), twin sister, Teri Long (David), brother, Kirk Martin (Lisa); and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A public visitation will be held on Monday, May 30, 2022, from 4:00PM - 6:00PM at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Chapel, 5757 S. Memorial, Tulsa, OK 74145.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 10:00AM at Cedar Ridge Christian Church, 4010 W. New Orleans Street, Broken Arrow, OK 74011.
