Latisha Lane Baldazo

August 26, 1966 — August 28, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Latisha (Tish) Lane Baldazo (Regalado) on August 28, 2024 at the age of 58 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Tish was born on August 26, 1966 in Odessa, TX to Earlene Smith and Lloyd Lane. She grew up with many friends and family members who loved her and her unrivaled sense of humor. It didn't take long being around Tish before she had you laughing with a witty remark.

Formerly known to many as "Tish Regalado", Tish and Anthony Baldazo were married on Valentine's Day of this year. They have enjoyed several years together visiting family, cheering on OU football as avid Sooners, and exploring Oklahoma.

After graduating from Permian High School, Tish graduated from Sul Ross State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She then returned to Odessa where she poured her heart into her students. For 30 years, she lived a life of service to those she taught.

Marissa, Tish's daughter, was her pride and joy. These two were the "Gilmore Girls" of Odessa.

Tish is preceded in death by her brother, Lloyd C Lane; Dad, Lloyd Lane; grandparents, Earl and Viola Tripp; and grandparents, Ralph and Hazel Lane.

Tish is survived by her husband Anthony Baldazo of Broken Arrow, OK; daughter Marissa & husband Tony of Lubbock, TX; mother Earlene Smith of Odessa, TX; In-laws

Rayford and Chris Carter of Austin, TX; Frank Baldazo Jr of Lubbock, TX; Step-son Alex Baldazo of Lubbock, TX;

Step-daughter Anna Baldazo and granddaughter Elena Baldazo of Katy, TX; and numerous family and friends.

A memorial service will be held in Odessa, TX at a time to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, TX. The hospital and staff have held a special place in the hearts of Tish & Marissa, as well as so many others.

"His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." - Matthew 25:21
