Thomas James Billy

A wake service will be held at Restore Church in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on Monday, January 20, 2020, at 4:00 PM. The funeral service will take place at Restore Church on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah, Oklahoma.

Thomas James Billy was born on February 27, 1963 in the town of Wetumka, Oklahoma to parents Frank Billy and Annie (Proctor) Billy. He passed away on January 15, 2020 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

He was a hard-working man and loved working at Blue Wave, where he was employed for 15 years doing repairs and maintenance on boats. He enjoyed being around his family. He was a member of Trenton Baptist Church and his favorite thing to do was watch sports, hang out with that guy Josiah, go to the casino, loved gospel music, and just lived life to the fullest

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Annie Billy, brother Daniel Billy, and his wife Lavenda (Johnson) Billy.

Those left to cherish his memory include three children and their spouses; Farrell and Mona Billy, Joshua and Lindsay Billy, Thomasena and Dakota Johns. Twelve grandkids; Lavenda, Silas, Kaylee, Adalena, Nadalee, Baeleigh, Layla, Josiah, Noah, Mango, Marley, Madison. Four sisters Daria Hicks, Gracine Hicks, Lisa Billy, and Gloria Billy. Two brothers Franklin Billy and David Billy. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
