Services to honor and celebrate the life of Thomas Edward Zickefoose will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Collective Church with Pastor Aaron Hunter officiating. Tom passed from this life January 16, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he was 75.
Tom was born on December 27, 1943 in Prattville, Oklahoma to his parents, Ned and Inez Zickefoose. Tom was a graduate of Charles Page High School in class of 1961 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Following high school, he furthered his education and attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
He would go on to work for Case where he would be employed for the next 50 years. In the times that he was not working, you could find Tom hunting or fishing. He loved the outdoors and would be on the tractor baling and hauling during hay season. He also really enjoyed family cookouts where he was known for "stirring the pot". Tom loved serving the Glenpool community having served on the school board of Glenpool Public School for many years. Tom also loved college sports and especially the New England Patriots.
Tom proudly served our country in the National Guard.
He met the love of his life, Judy (Kern) Zickefoose and together they would have 3 children. He was preceded in death by wife; Frances (Judy) Zickefoose, as well as parents; Ned and Inez Zickefoose.
Those left to cherish his memory include children; Clint and wife; Tammy Zickefoose, Kyle and wife; Kristi Zickefoose, as well as Kayla and husband; Sam Wright all of Glenpool, Oklahoma. Siblings include; Jimmy and wife; Pat Zickefoose, Robert and wife; Marilyn Zickefoose, , Alice and husband; Gene Downs Helen and husband; Terry Gilreath; as well as Chuck and wife; Kathy Zickefoose.
Tom had seven wonderful grandchildren; Ryan and his wife Tara, Wade and his wife Kari, Codey and his wife Brittney, Andrew, Dustin, Jake, Brent and one great grandchild Hadley Zickefoose along with a host of other family members and life-long friends.
