Theresa Mary Hartley

Theresa Mary Hartley passed away Saturday evening, April 11, 2020, at the age of 79 years. Theresa was born on April 19, 1940, in Dewey, OK to her parents, Sammy and Mary (Socorro Leon) Sanbrano.

She married Kenneth Workman on May 23, 1962, and from this union, two children were born, Terry and Kenneth. Theresa was a stay at home mother and homemaker. After Kenneth’s passing, she married Robert Hartley of Dewey.

Theresa loved to go out to eat at Compadres for homemade tortillas, tamales, rice & beans, and even though she wasn’t a drinker, she loved to order the biggest margarita on the menu. She enjoyed trips to the local casino and loved to dance- she could out line-dance the youngsters. Her family admired her cursive handwriting, saying it was the prettiest they ever had seen. Theresa had such a green thumb; growing all types of plants, flowers, and she also raised rose bushes. She truly loved the early morning time sitting on the back porch drinking coffee and talking with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sammy and Mary Sanbrano; husbands, Kenneth Workman and Robert Hartley; as well as seven siblings.

Theresa leaves many loving memories with her family, daughter, Terry (Travis) Magana, of Owasso; son, Kenneth (Jessica) Workman, of Tulsa; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as one sister & two brothers; many other loving relatives, and a host of friends.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service. In honor of Theresa’s wishes, the family is having a private gathering at a later date.
