Theodore "Ted" Louis Howery

Ted L. Howery passed from this life on February 26, 2016 at the age of 78 years old, surrounded by love and family. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa to Berneide G. (Price) and Robert J. Howery on March 7, 1937. He grew up in Waterloo, IA and moved to Tulsa, OK, where he established a family and his career of over 40 years as an Estimator in the Heat Exchanger industry. His love affair with Grand Lake began in 1968 with the purchase of land on the water’s edge and continued until his passing. He is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Paul. He is survived by his sisters; Barbara Looney of Irvine, CA, Jeri and Gerald Molloy of Loveland, CO, Carol and Larry Farmer of Westfield, IA and Susan and Terry Baker of Townville, SC as well as his children, Tracy and Kevin May of Las Vegas, NV, Philip and Shawna Howery of the home and Robert Howery of Middleton, WI. , grandchildren and great grand children. He will be remembered by his family and friends at a memorial service to be announced at a later date.
