Thelma Rae White

Thelma Rae White age 70 passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 at St. Johns Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by loving family members.

Thelma was born October 17, 1943 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Elmo House and Flora (Rooker) House. She graduated from Crowder High School and before retiring she worked as a Food Manager at Jackie Brannon Correctional Center. She was a member of C & Tyler Church of Christ. Some of Thelma's hobbies were gardening - she loved her flowers; she enjoyed cooking, working jigsaw puzzles, spending time with her family, shopping, playing canasta with her sisters but her favorite pass time was playing with her favorite companion, "Tilly To-To" her little dachshund dog.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents: Elmo and Flora House, her sister, JoAnn Forman and her brother Elmo "Sonny" House, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Carmen (White) Smith of Bristow, her three sons, Bill White, Jr. and his wife, Linda of Indianola, Oklahoma, Kelly Joe White and his wife, Delicia of Stidham, Oklahoma, Chadwick Daily White of McAlester, her brother James House and his wife, Connie of McAlester, her sisters, Juanita Faye McFarland, Margie Rogers and her husband, Jim , Linda Perry and her husband, Eugene, her sister in-law, Shirley House all from McAlester, her seven loving grandchildren, her three loving great grandchildren along with other family members and friends.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at North Town Church of Christ in McAlester, Oklahoma.
