Thelma Poulton

Thelma Poulton, a resident of Henryetta was born December 7, 1914 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to May Sneed and Albert Blake. She passed away November 21, 2009 at Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years 11 months and 14 days. She was married to Frederick Stewart Poulton at Sulpher, OK on April 14, 1940. She was a House Wife. Thelma was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, a Deaconess of the First Christian Church, and a past president of the Church Women United. She was preceded in death by husband Frederick Poulton, sister Ruby Guynes, and sister Leona Tweedy. Thelma is survived by her son, Freddie Poulton, Henryetta, OK; Grandson, Greg Poulton, Henryetta, OK; Grandson, Stewart Poulton, Henryetta, OK; Granddaughter, Laquetta Hentges, St. Peter, MN; Granddaughter, Kimberly Killman, Moore, OK; 9 Great Grandchildren, Brother, Bub Blake, Texas; Services will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 2:00pm at First Christian Church of Henryetta officiated by pastor Kris Denning. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home of Henryetta, OK.
