Thelma Marie Franklin

Thelma Marie Franklin, 94 years old, passed away on Thursday night, February 3, 2022. She was born on August 18, 1927 in Cameron, Arkansas to the late George and Jewel (Slate) Young. Thelma loved flowers and was great at planting them. She had many Rose bushes. Red Roses were her favorite. She was an avid collector of dolls and jewelry. Thelma did not have her state driver licenses but that did not stop her from driving wherever it was she needed to go. She was a member of the Church at Freewill Baptist Church in Mansfield.

Thelma is preceded in death by her parents and daughters Mary Franklin and Linda Williams, siblings Mildred, Rhetha, Francis, Loretta Faye, RT, and Wesley

Thelma is survived by her children Wilma Reid, Nadine McKillip, Junie Sanders, and Robert Franklin, ten grandchildren, thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great great grandchildren, and two great great great grandchildren, siblings Wynona and Arlie and a host of close friends and loved ones.

A Funeral Service for Thelma will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Schaudt Funeral Service Chapel in Okmulgee with Brother Kevin Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the William Family Cemetery in Okmulgee. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Schaudt Funeral Service Chapel from 5:00 p.mm until 7:00 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Schaudt Funeral Service of Okmulgee.
